The Cheviots Housing Village Ashington, Tyne & Wear
In 2016, we completed work at The Cheviots housing village in Ashington, Tyne & Wear. Situated on the
former Ashington Hospital site, this project involved creation of over 100 quality new homes for rent and low cost home ownership part of the regeneration plan of Ashington Town Centre.
We worked closely with our client; Bernicia Group to complete all joinery installation of Timber Frame Kits, Rooflife, Euitone and Erternit Rain Screen Cladding and completed all of the internal joinery throughout over 40 self contained apartment blocks and communal areas to a high specification and standard of finish.
Winner of Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development at the 2016 LABC Northern Excellence Awards.
